With over 11,000 stores across Indonesia, you can find the nearest Indomaret just around the corner. It has become people’s choice for everyday groceries. Based on that fact, Indomaret wanted to bring the spirit of ‘simple everyday life’ into their new headquarters in Jakarta.

With that approach in mind, Kancata chose to illustrate the simple daily activities that we find easily on the streets of Jakarta. Where traditional markets and merchants represented a chain of sellers and buyers, while the hawker food stalls and Betawi performance arts “Ondel-Ondel” marked Jakarta’s roots and culture.
