Pop of the Century

This project was our collaboration with AEDI Interior Consultant for Harlow Brasserie. The interior is designed to capture the Arts and Crafts movement from the early 20th century, with its classic furniture and contemporary materials.

The main challenge for Kancata was to introduce a modern vibe into this theme. We came up with an idea to illustrate modern pop-culture icons of New York City, such as Andy Warhol and Robert De Niro. The result was six paintings with an impressionistic approach that complement the space with its modern character.

Ibis Styles Simatupang

Creating a cool resting place in the middle of the big city.

Standing side by side with one of Jakarta’s busiest streets, Ibis Style Simatupang has to offer more than just warm welcome and excellent services to its customers.

Extending customer experience, we help them to create a unique theme ‘oasis’. A series of wall arts that brings a cool atmosphere amidst a blazing urban life in Jakarta.

The main challenge was to incorporate and simplify the objects chosen into one impactful illustration, which was then printed in ceramics and vinyl and placed along the main dining area to the hallway.
